Southwell AW Code Breaker
My attempt to Crack The AW Code At Southwell on this afternoon's bumper 9 race card that features seven handicaps, of which two are nurseries for 2yo runners only ~ one is for fillies only.
❖ Jockeys ❖ This afternoon I'll be studying all of the Rossa Ryan (𝕏) rides. He has six rides booked. There will likely be a winner or two to be had from those.
❖ Draw Bias ❖ The draw bias at Southwell is non existent. Back who you like wherever they're drawn. If backing any front runners, pay close attention to whether you think they have the ability to actually get home up the slightly uphill 1.5f finish.

Southwell Betting Analysis
8:00 Southwell ❖ 5f C5 ❖ Captain Kinsella (9/1 ~ 6/1) is down to a very winnable mark.
Conclusion: Is dropped in grade and carries 4lb less than his last run when returning from a break. Rossa Ryan booked today ~ so improvement is expected, by me, to the tune of an outright win in this Class 5 hcp. The 9/1 on offer looks very reasonable to me..

#Betting Note: Backed down from 9/1 to 6/1 as I write. Missed it. I'll take my chances at 6/1 still.

Conclusion: Makes a quick return to Southwell with Rossa aboard. Upped in trip by an extra furlong. I think it will suit him just nicely.
