Cracking The Lingfield AW Code

❖ Monday December 8 2025

Lingfield AW Code Breaker

We have two AW meetings today. Lingfield this monday morning is a 9 race card with 8 handicaps to look at. I will attempt to Crack The Lingfield All Weather code in as few words as possible.

❖ Jockeys ❖ The jockey I am concentrating on today has to be the Irishman Rossa Ryan 𝕏 who has a 25% strike rate at Lingfield this year. He knows this quirky track inside out. He has seven rides.

❖ Trainers ❖ No particular trainer catches my eye for today's afternoon meeting.

❖ Draw Bias ❖ No draw bias at Lingfield worthy of note. You want decent jockeys at Lingfield, not an inside or outside draw etc.

❖ Bet Selection Considerations ❖

  • ❖ Check out all of the Rossa Ryan rides, especially in handicaps, very closely.
  • ❖ Also beware anything that has been thrown into a race with a clear and obvious advantage.

Lingfield Betting Analysis

12:07 Lingfield ❖ 8f C5 ❖ Towerlands (6/1) is a bit of an unknown quantity, but improved a fair amount once introduced to the AW circuit over a mile on the Southwell Tapeta. I doubt Lingfield's Polytrack surface will be a hindrance. So that said, I think the 6lb rise is fair, and may well not stop him going in again under Rossa Ryan, who takes the ride from Tom Eaves.
