7:00 Ernies Valentine (14/1) goes off a career low 69 if you factor in the 3lb claim of jockey Conor Planas. That's a 9lb dive in 2 months.

He'll only win if he turns up in anything like the form he was running at in June this year. I thought he showed up ok last run and hinted at a possible return to some form.

The extra furlong, a relenting handicapper, the 3lb claim, nice draw in trap 1, maybe it will be Ernies Valentine day tonight..

All in all, the 14/1 is a reasonable betting opportunity. Cheers, Sandracer.
