8:22 4yo Global Effort (14/1) has not won a race during his 17 race career, placed 6 times. Some races he starts fast, then weakens. Others he's held up, runs on. 5 and 6 furlongs, the same result, no win. He has pace at both ends, just needs to get it together.

Today he goes for the 1st time over the wide sweeping bends of Chelmsford, over 7 furlongs. A chance to get a smooth start, get into stride, grab a breather, then run for the line.
