6:00 Bobby Joe Leg (22/1) is running better than ever at 10 years old. To win today on a mark of 71, he'll have to put in a career best performance.

Can't happen? He's been beaten a length, then a half length, over 7f at Southwell, then Wolverhampton, in the last 2 races at 71. So why not run well again, on 71, at Newcastle over the straight 7?

At 22/1, I think the bookies are taking a chance, on an in form horse not finding half a length, in a sprint race.

I'll take my chances at the price, cheers, Sandracer.
