1:30 9yo Furzig (16/1) was rated at 104 at best. He has a C&D win in the book at 97. Today he is competing at 77.

Beaten by 10l last 2 races, placed 3rd the race before, best I can say is he's fit and running regularly, but inconsistent, for now..

Drawn out in the car park, he'll be held up as usual. Class horse of the race though. Would rout these lot in the past.

If he can get a good sit, he could swamp them all. Richard Fahey may just be looking to collect that Good Friday 20k prize on offer, by playing the joker in the pack.



3:50 Exalted Angel (16/1) has been given a squeak by the capper, who has dropped him half a stone in 2 races. I don't think he ran badly either.

Mark today is 90. Career best 108. Best win a C&D rated at 95.

He'll trap like a greyhound, get to the bend first from the wide draw, take a breather and try to outrun them in the last 2f.
