6:15 Whatwouldyouknow (12/1) is running well enough at the moment to be priced up around 6/1 to win this race. Mark, course, distance, in form, decent jockey.

I can't see why he drifted last night out to 20's from an generous looking 8/1. I can see why he's back into 12/1, 14's in a place. Still a decent price for me.


7:15 Thaki (11/1) has been quite disappointing to watch since his 40/1 2nd a couple of months ago. I'm not trying to get attached to horses or anything. They cost you too much that way - sometimes. Maybe he just thought the now removed cheekpieces weren't a good look?

I notice the drop in mark by 2lb for poor recent efforts, allied with the employment of 5lb claimer William Pyle, who is 20, not the 14 years he looks. Backed down from an early 16/1, into 11's, I'm going to take the double figure odds on offer and watch with interest as good boy Thaki romps home.. Cheers, Sandracer.
