Have you been on the sauce? or is it that these races lend themselves to your style of punting i.e. chaos = big prices?
Yeah I know. It's like the old days when I never knew better.
Truth be told i've been betting them for a bit without putting them up.
Slipper, there's enough info available on each horse in these races to build a picture, 2 days before the race. They're no harder to fathom than your average trappy handicap.
Might be worth including for you 1 day, if you're looking for turnover. Especially during the summer.
4:20 Kempton - Kentmere.
Bet of the meeting at the price.
4:50 Kempton - Norse Warrior.
Capable ex Irish, erratic, should not be the 25/1 rag.
5:20 Kempton - Kheley.
The claimers pull could prove decisive. Great price available with 4 absentees.
During the summer I focus on my local track (Bath) as I live next door. Also there are plenty of All Weather meetings during the summer in the interim..
My favourite angle for fillies Handicaps is to ignore the jolly and invert my selection process to focus on the longest priced horses downwards.. I also look for horses that run well against other fillies/mares. if you find a consistent filly (rare I know) then follow here against her own kind.
