Lingfield AW Code Breaker

Today's AW meeting comes from Lingfield. A seven race card that includes five handicaps. I will attempt to Crack The Lingfield All Weather code in as few words as possible.

❖ Jockeys ❖ Today I'm concentrating on the Old Warhorse himself Luke Morris 𝕏.

❖ Trainers ❖ No particular trainer catches my eye for today's afternoon meeting.

❖ Draw Bias ❖ No draw bias at Lingfield worthy of note. You want decent jockeys at Lingfield, not an inside or outside draw etc.

❖ Bet Selection Considerations ❖

  • ❖ Check out all of the Luke Morris runners very closely.
  • ❖ Also beware anything that has been thrown into a race with a clear and obvious advantage.

5:00 Lingfield ❖ 5f C5 3yo Hcp ❖ Okiri (8/1) has doubled in price overnight, but his chances have not halved. With Morris aboard and a nicer draw in trap one, I think they'll have to go some to stop him getting away from them today.

6:30 Lingfield ❖ 1m C4 Hcp ❖ Panama Black (16/1) has the form in the book to be a real danger for his new yard at Laura Mongan. Luke Morris aboard is a positive. The wide draw is not unsurmountable whatsoever. All in all, atleast twice the price he should be. Probably more, as we may well just see later on.
