Cracking The Lingfield AW Code

Lingfield AW Code Breaker

Lingfield on the All Weather this afternoon is a 6 race card with 2 maidens and 4 handicap races. I will attempt to crack the Lingfield All Weather code in as few words as possible.

❖ Jockeys ❖ The jockey I am concentrating on today is top jockey Hector Crouch.

❖ Trainers ❖ No particular trainer catches my eye for today's meeting.

❖ Draw Bias ❖ No draw bias at Lingfield worthy of note. You want decent jockeys at Lingfield, not an inside or outside draw etc.

❖ Bet Selection Considerations ❖

  • ❖ If anything matches up both parameters above, give it a close look on form.
  • ❖ Also beware anything that has been thrown into a race with a clear and obvious advantage.

3:10 Lingfield ❖ 6f C5 Hcp. So Sassy (11/4) has a reasonable chance of breaking her duck. 11/4f though? Not for me.

3:45 Lingfield ❖ 2m C6 Hcp. Grey Owl (3/1) will have to improve a couple of lengths with the ad of Crouch to win here. At 3/1 I won't be playing. I'd take a chance at 6/1 ~ 3/1 is not a decent betting proposition from what I can see.

4:20 Lingfield ❖ 1m 4f C4 Hcp. Bintabuha (14/1) will have to answer the question marks over the going and distance for me to get involved.

4:20 Lingfield ❖ 5f C6 Hcp. Sarabi (17/2) posted a much better performance when winning over 6f here last time up. Upped 8lb for that run is a tiny bit harsh, but not extravagantly so. The 17/2 on offer here following up with the aid of Crouch over a furlong shorter is a fair price in this 7 runner race.
