Kempton AW Code Breaker

A decent looking Kempton AWR meeting is up for this evening. I will attempt to crack the Kempton All Weather code in as few words as possible.

❖ Jockeys ❖ The jockeys I am concentrating on are top jocks Oisin Murphy and 3 X champion jockey Silvestre De Sousa.

❖ Trainers ❖ The trainers on my hit list at Kempton this evening are Roger Varian and the Andrew Balding stable. I will be taking a close look at everything they put out.

Other trainers of note are on the card, but I will be concentrating on the two mentioned. The aim is to isolate a couple of winners and not get confused by meticulously reading hundreds of horses form ~ thereby ending up with no idea who to back.

❖ Draw Bias ❖ Draw considerations come into play sharply at Kempton. I Will be looking for a low draw (1~5) in all races up to a mile.

• ❖ If anything matches up all three parameters above, give it a close look on form.
• ❖ Anything that matches up two from three, very carefully check the form also.
• ❖ Also beware anything that has been thrown into a race with a clear and obvious advantage.

Kempton Betting Analysis

7:15 Kempton ❖ 7f C4 Hcp. Al Kawssaa (7/1) and Red Mirage (5/1) both have plenty going for them. Both however, are not drawn so well. Horses can still win over the 7f trip at Kempton from outside draws, but I won't bet on it.

7:45 Kempton ❖ 8f C4 Hcp. King Of Fury (11/2) takes on a couple of 3yo talking horses, but they have been found by the market at 3/1jf's. Fury sets the benchmark in this 14 runner handicap and for me, is the one they all have to beat. I make him the arguable 5/2fav from an inside draw with top jockey Oisin Murphy booked.

8:15 Kempton ❖ 1m 4f C5 Hcp. Dubawi Time (9/2) and topweight Damascus Steel (11/2) are 3rd and 4th fav in this one. I'm happy they can beat all these rivals. As far as I'm concerned, I need to pick the winner of a match between the two.

#verdict: I think Dubawi Time with the aid of Murphy, and the drop back down to a handy mark of 60, will take all the beating.

8:45 Kempton ❖ 2m C4 Hcp. Triple Gee (5/2) may well trounce the fav Synergism first time up on the All Weather ~ it's possible. At 5/2 though, he won't be doing so with any of my dough on it. There are a couple of other handy opponents in the race also. Definitely a no bet race.
