Race Overview: Stringsofmyheart has been given a chance by the handicapper having been dropped 2lbs since winning a Hamilton claimer last month and has to be respected but preference is for Abounding, with My Secrets rated the pick of the remainder. The selection was better value for her success over course and distance on his reappearance last month than the winning margin suggests and Ralph Beckett's filly is taken to defy a 9lb rise in the weights. Bachnagairn has been thereabouts in recent starts on turf and would have claims if handling the Polytrack, while History Boy may do better now stepped up in trip but is not certain to stay this far. Similar comments apply to Private Reason and of more interest may be Mark Johnston's My Secrets who is better than recent runs on turf suggest. Abounding is less exposed than most of these and is taken to confirm the good belief made here last time.
