Race Overview: Nan Jan can pick up the finale at the expense of Scuba and Crafty Fox. Nan Jan has been in good form of present and was impressive enough in defeat at Wolverhampton on Saturday evening. She was quietly backed on that occasion so connections clearly believe that there is more to come. Scuba has to reverse form on their most recent meeting and is sure to give another fair account. Crafty Fox finished fourth in what has proved to be an above-average claimer by the track's standards. There is a suspicion that he is marginally better around Southwell. Material Witness is difficult to catch right although the handicapper is at least granting him some respite these days. Caprichio is watched in the market in spite of advancing years as he has relatively little experience of the all-weather. High Class Problem is dropped in trip while Nikki Bea is conversely tried over further. Nan Jan still looks to be on the upgrade and as a mare in form, she is accordingly selected.
