Race Overview: A modest opening race can go to course and distance winner Gizmondo ahead of fellow course and distance winner Magic Amigo and Kumakawa. Michael Bell's gelding ran well in defeat last time out at Nottingham for today's claiming jockey, and whilst he has to prove himself on ground this soft, a mark of 60 shouldn't be beyond him. The stable's horses are going well and he gets the nod. Magic Amigo needs to bounce back from a poor effort last time out on the all-weather and he has proven himself on soft ground before. Surdoue is woefully out of form at present, whilst Panshir is similarly out of form but would have a squeak on his best form. Kumakawa returns to the turf on a mark of 30 and if he can't win off this then connections will be depressed, however his old turf form hardly offers any reason for encouragement. A weak race, and Gizmondo gets the most tentative of nominations.

Race Overview: In a modest event, Dalkey Girl is selected ahead of Pretty Bonnie and Mac Dalia Dalkey Girl was not beaten far on her Lingfield debut and that form rates on a par with any other on show here, we feel, so she can go well today. Hucking Harmony failed to build on her two solid all-weather runs when tried on Turf last time but Pretty Bonnie comes right into things based on her Catterick third last time. The Magic Blanket has not been seen since showing some promise on his debut in the Brocklesby Stakes but would not have had to have improved much in order to get involved today. Finally, of the newcomers, Mac Dalia gets a mention but, for the selection, we will stick with Dalkey Girl.

Race Overview: Another race that won't take much winning and Tawnybrack gets the nomination ahead of Sad Times. Jane Chapple-Hyam's son of Rossini didn't appear to improve for his debut run when well-held over course and distance last month. He was slowly away on that occasion, but if he avoids that trait he wouldn't need to put in a mind-blowing performance to win this now upped in trip. Sad Times steps up in trip and has the advantage of a course win to his name which makes him a threat. All Talk returns to this trip after a run over seven furlongs at Brighton, and whilst he has been badly out of form of late, he would have a squeak on his old form of a year ago. Dee Burgh returns fro ma break and may have improved over the winter although he didn't show much last year, whilst Roca Redonda returns from a spell jumping and cannot be ruled out. A race to forget, and Tawnybrack can score.

Race Overview: Brian Meehan's runners are starting to hit a bit of form and Crocodile Bay can continue that resurgence with a win at the main expense of perennial runner-up Hits Only Cash and Josh You Are. The selection did best of those behind runaway winner Full Victory two starts back and then ran well in defeat on the all-weather earlier this month. The ground should be ok for him, and he gets the tentative nod. Surwaki has won from his mark of 75 before so goes on the shortlist, along with Rowan Lodge who is well below his highest winning mark (17lbs to be precise) and Mark Tompkins runner has been going well of late. Josh You Are let down his supporters last time out and now drops half a mile in trip. He will need them to go a real decent lick if he is to score, and so we will take him on. Froisee ran well over course and distance last time out and will love any further rain, however Crocodile Bay gets the vote of confidence to get his head in front.

Race Overview: Hessian gets weight from most of the field and is selected to win. Corlough Mountain and Sky Masterson make it to the shortlist. Given a break since her last run, Michael Bell's daughter of Barathea had been running well without getting her head in front. The form of her penultimate run behind One Hour was franked on Saturday and if transferring her Southwell form to this slow surface, she can land these moderate spoils. Ask Yer Dad is yet to win in eight starts so is passed over again, so of more interest may be Neville Callaghan's Corlough Mountain. He hasn't hit any dizzy heights as of yet but should be monitored for signs of confidence in the betting returning from a break. Beautiful Madness is another for consideration, along with Sky Masterson who can be given one more chance after a run last time out that was too bad to be true. However, we have no qualms in returning to Hessian as the selection.

Race Overview: Dramatic is taken to win again under his penalty. His hat-trick win may come at the main expense of Hucking Hope and Thunderbolt Jackson. Sir Mark Prescott's horses are running well and with stable jockey Seb Sanders full of confidence and flying high at the top of the Jockey's Championship, Dramatic looks an obvious winner. He looked as if he was making hard work of winning last time out at halfway but he drew away to win comfortably in the end and if translating that all-weather form to the turf today, he looks sure to run another big race. Hucking Hope is yet to win on turf but this step up in trip should be fine and the filly cannot be ruled out with another winter on her back. Retaliate has won over course and distance so warrants respect, whilst Thunderbolt Jaxon will need to forget a shocking run last time out. That was too bad to be true and he must be forgiven that effort now back on turf. At a price Ensign's Trick has minor place claims, however Dramatic is a horse on a role and can gain the hat-trick today.
