Race Overview: Aggravation has a 6lb penalty to carry for his win over course and distance last week when value for further than his winning margin having idled when hitting the front and David Elsworth's gelding is taken to follow up here at the main expense of Tender The Great and Veiled Applause. The last mentioned was only beaten a head by the selection last week and has to be respected on 6lb better terms but Aggravation may have been value for more than the margin suggests. Jools was further behind seven days ago and is hard to recommend on that evidence, while San Antonio is held by the selection on running at Newmarket last month. Recent Bath winner Tender The Great has to be respected but Aggravation has solid claims and he is taken to win again.

Race Overview: Ten On Line has to be of interest in a poor contest but Jamie Osborne's colt has been well held in similar contests in his two previous starts and preference is for Shipboard Romance, with Rio Taffeta rated the pick of the remainder. The selection appreciated the drop to this class at Redcar last time and with the yard of David Evans continuing in good form he looks the one to beat. Tenth Night has been well held in two starts in maidens and may do better now dropped into plating class but is hard to recommend on all known form, while Scrap N'Dust is getting better with each start but needs to improve again to trouble the judge. Rio Taffeta is more exposed than most of these but is a consistent performer in this company and should be thereabouts but Shipboard Romance looks the percentage call and gets the vote.

Race Overview: Rocking is entitled to come on for his Ripon debut earlier this month but the William Haggas-trained filly has probably the worst of the draw and looks worth taking on with preference for Luscious Lips, who gets the vote ahead of Mister Fips. The last mentioned has improved with each start is well drawn in stall 12 and has to be respected but may have to settle for a minor role. What Katie Did looks to be going the right way but needs to improve again to trouble the judge, while Art Sale may do better dropping back to the minimum trip. Richard Hannon's Hold That Call ran better at Sandown last time and has to be respected on a faster surface today that should suit but preference is for stablemate Luscious Lips who looks to be going the right way and she gets the vote form a decent draw.

Race Overview: Gold Flame appreciated the drop back to this trip when opening his account in a Southwell maiden last time and has to be respected but Henry Candy's gelding does not look to be particularly well treated for his debut in this grade and preference is for Gwilym, with Abwaab rated the pick of the remainder. The selection is a consistent performer in this grade and should appreciate the return to six furlongs having been staying on at the end of the minimum trip here last month. Peter Makin's Louphole is strictly held by Abwaab on running here last month and looks booked for a place at best, while his conqueror that day has disappointed since and may now be best watched. Outer Hebrides is on a long losing sequence but has not had a great deal of help from the handicapper, while China Cherub is hard to recommend on recent form. There is no problem on that score with Gwilym though and he gets the vote.

Race Overview: It will be interesting to see how the market shapes regarding Jeremy Noseda's newcomer Exclusionist but he will need to be useful to beat Fourteenth, who is the clear form pick and gets the vote ahead of Kwazulu. The selection made a promising start to his career when finding just Moon Quest too good in a maiden over course and distance and, with improvement to come, he looks the one they all have to beat. The Michael Jarvis-trained Irish Quest has ability but may do better when running in handicaps, while Trans Siberian makes only limited appeal on pedigree on his debut and may be best watched. James Fanshawe's Ommadawn has shown ability in both starts but may have to settle for a minor role with a bigger threat looking to be Kwazulu. John Gosden's colt is bred to be useful and a market move for him could be of interest but Fourteenth has solid claims on all known form and he is preferred.

Race Overview: Typically of one trained by Sir Mark Prescott, Ballet Boy had three runs as a juvenile over inadequate trips and now makes his reappearance and handicap debut over a more suitable 1m2f so looks potentially well treated and gets the vote to open his account ahead of Sir Duke and Sonara. The last mentioned has shown a consistent level of form this term and is entitled to be thereabouts again but may have to settle for minor honours. Top weight Natural Action seems plenty high enough in the handicap for what he has achieved, while Calculating was well held on his return in a Newmarket handicap and now looks best watched. Pat Eddery's Lapina should be thereabouts again but a bigger threat may come from recent Redcar winner Sir Duke. Ballet Boy is potentially well treated for his handicap debut stepping up to a more suitable distance though and he is preferred.
