Race Overview: Bull Market needs a check in the betting however Stolen Hours is taken to follow up his recent win again at the main expense of Inchmahome and Motsaril. The last-named cannot be ruled out despite a poor effort last time out. That was his reappearance and he actually won next time out last season after a similar first effort. However, Stolen Hours was impressive from the front at Kempton last time out and looks sure to mount another bold bid from the front despite a 5lb rise in the weights (has won off 69 in the past). Inchmahome seemed to appreciate the step up in trip last time out when winning at Lingfield and this extra furlong shouldn't be a problem. He looks potentially better than this mark of 66 although he does appear to need some stoking up before he responds. Pocketwood is another last-time-out winner for consideration, whilst Mustajed drops in class which could pay dividends. A tough start for punters, and we will tentatively side with Stolen Hours.

Race Overview: This is normally a pretty decent maiden and from a shortlist of El Toreador, Peppermint Green and Duchess Royale, we will side with Duchess Royale. Sir Michael Stoute's filly ran very green on her debut last month but shaped as if this step up in trip would suit and with Ryan Moore in the saddle, a big run must be expected. Her trainer does so well with three-year-old fillies and as her sire handled cut in the ground, any rain that comes shouldn't be a problem. El Toreador represents an in-form stable and improved for her first run when a good third last time out. The further step up looks a good move and she must rate a very live threat, along with Fleuret who made a pleasing debut recently and with nominal improvement should reach the frame. Baliasta should strip fitter for her recent reappearance, whilst Peppermint Green mixed it in good company last year but may want the rain to stay away. A race to record possibly, and Duchess Royale gets the nod.

Race Overview: Zowington can win today at the main expense of Peopleton Brook and Golden Brook. Chris Wall's charge looked as if he would soon be winning when running well in defeat at Sandown recently. He acts on any ground so whether the rain comes or doesn't, a good run can be expected for his in-form stable. Cashelmead certainly knows how to win and is now a pound below his highest winning mark so looks a threat, along with Peopleton Brook who is alos below a winning mark despite winning two starts ago. He would prefer the rain to stay away though. Holbeck Ghyll tends to handicap himself with tardy starts, however he will be staying on close home whilst Azygous needs to bounce back fro ma poor last run. Golden Dixie drops back in trip but it could be that as he gets older, this eight-year-old may be losing a bit of speed so is passed over. Another open affair, and we will side with Zowington as the selection.

Race Overview: If the rain stays away then Ashdown Express must have a great chance, however Prime Defender is a youngster on the move and can win again. Of the others, only Mimisel can be ruled out. Barry Hills' colt never looked as if he was going to be anything other than a sprinter and after a couple of poor attempts at a mile when he didn't stay, he scored well over this trip in a Listed contest last month. He acts on all types of ground and looks sure to run a big race, although it won't be easy against some seasoned older rivals. Patavellian needs the heavens to open but his prayers could be answered so he looks a threat, along with Pivotal Point who was mixing it in some tasty company last year. He returns from a break and may just need the run though. Presto Shinko looked very promising last year however he was bitterly disappointing last time out and needs to bounce back. Sakhee's Secret comes her e in search of the hat-trick and Hughie Morrison's colt looks primed for another big run, however Prime Defender gets the nomination.

Race Overview: Provided the forecast rain comes, What A Treasure can continue her winning streak. Rogue and Our Faye make it to the shortlist. Luca Cumani's filly showed a good attitude to win last time out and as the first two pulled some way clear, a 4lb rise in the weights may not be enough to stop her scoring again. The stable continue in good nick and another big run is on the cards. Our Faye is a interesting contender; she drops in trip for this reappearance. Whilst connections may just be using this as a pipe-opener, it may be that another winter has opened their eyes to this horse's true vocation. Rogue steps up in trip and has claims if building on a decent effort behind reliable yardstick Vegas Boys twelve days ago. Smart Cat is another runner dropping markedly in trip but it will need to work wonders as the horse has shown little so far, and we have no qualms in returning to What A Treasure as the winner.

Race Overview: Hardly an easy end to the days racing however something has to win and the vote goes to Ice tango ahead of Winged Farasi and The King And I. The conditions of this race mean that any jockey riding for their own stable are able to claim an extra 3lbs weight allowance, which means that The King And I has a decent should. He has shown glimpses of ability so far although this step up in trip doesn't look ideal. Ice Tango was flattered to finish so close to French 1000 Guineas fourth Costume in a maiden at Ripon when last seen but that was an improvement on previous efforts and if building on that run he looks sure to mount a bold bid. Winged Farasi has been running in claimers but this is no better and at least Ron Harris' colt is consistent. He drops in trip which doesn't appear ideal. Kiss Chase makes his handicap debut today and whilst he is now on a low mark, he needs to step up on what he has shown so far. At a price Dansil In Distress has a squeak with a more experienced jockey on board, however Iced Tango gets the tentative nomination.
