Race Overview: Ah Yeah gets the vote in this poor seller with South Wind Rising and Percipient rating the main dangers. The selection was a fair second in similar grade behind Shannon Lodge last time out and off the same mark here he looks the one to be on with most of his rivals having shown little of late. South Wind Rising rates the main danger on his latest fourth behind Dead Mans Dante especially if the fitting of first time cheek pieces improve him and he should be watched in the market. Percipient is another that could go well on his best form as he is dropping in grade but his rider is very inexperienced and he looks opposable on that basis. Noble Calling is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he looks weighted up to his best while Mariday would not want much rain, and with this in mind for the winner we return to Ah Yeah who at least looks sure to run his race.

Race Overview: Esprit de Corps, Jack Rolfe and Marker look the three to concentrate on in this maiden hurdle and the tentative nomination is given to Esprit de Corps. The selection has won at up to two and a quater miles on the flat represents powerful connections is sure to know his job and he looks the one to be on on this his debut over hurdles. Jack Rolfe rates the main danger on his latest third behind Linden Boy. He is sure to have come on for the run and should be watched in the market. Marker was a sprinter on the flat and won over six furlongs, if his stamina lasts out he would be a danger to all but that is a big if. Shannonvale was second in a point to point last time out but the drop in trip has to be of concern while Darusso was well beaten in a grade one hurdle last time out, this looks easier and he could go well at a price but for the winner we are happy to return to Esprit de Corps, even though he will ultimately be better over a longer trip.

Race Overview: Saorsie gets the confident vote in this handicap chase with Gipsy Cricketer and Noadibou heading the list of dangers. The selection was a fair third behind Armariver last time out. That form looks rock solid in the context of this race and off what looks a handy mark he will be hard to beat. Gipsy Cricketer rates the main danger on his latest fourth behind Dev, but his best form is over fast ground and he is taken on with this in mind. Noadibou is another that could go well on his latest third behind Fort Ord especially as the drop in distance looks sure to suit. Saby is from a shrewd yard and is worth a cautionary look in the market. Of the remainder Only Dreams could improve in first time blinkers and is another to note in the market with his yard in form but Saorsie ran well last time out and he looks the one to be on.

Race Overview: A tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be Take The Stand, Critical Stage and Nawamees and the narrow vote is given to Nawamees. The selection was eighth behind Pearl King last time out but he looks sure to be suited by this longer trip and softer ground and off what remains a handy mark he looks a value bet. Take The Stand rates the main danger as he returns to hurdles off a much lower mark than his chase rating but his best form is on fast ground and he looks opposable on that basis. Critical Stage won well last time out when beating Rashida but that was in a seller and he will need to improve to win this off his higher mark. Saratogane has the abilty to win off this mark but has two ways of running so can not be put forward with any confidence. Briscoe Place's best form is on fast ground while Dad's Elect may need the run after a 730 day absence and for the winner we return to Nawamees.

Race Overview: Granite Man gets the vote here with Flying Forme and Algenon rating the main dangers. The selection was a fair fourth behind Lets Go Dutch last time out, looks sure to improve for the step up in trip and with his yard continuing in good form he looks the one to be on. Flying Forme rates the main danger, on his best form he is sure to strip fitter for his latest run but he looks high enough in the weights for what he has actually achieved and he is taken on with this in mind. Algenon is another that could go well on his best form but he looks the stable's second string on jockey bookings and he will need to improve for first time blinkers if he is to score. Lough Rynn would be a danger to all on his win a couple of runs ago but he has since disappointed for no apparent reason, while Lost In Normandy is best when allowed to dominate but he looks sure to be taken on for the lead and with this in mind for the winner we return to Granite Man who looks progressive.

Race Overview: A bumper rounds off the card and as usual in these types of events the market will be all important but the principals look to be Brave Face, Baker's Girl and Waneska and the narrow vote is given to Brave Face. The selection hails from a yard that has a good record in these events and this former point winner will not need to be anything special to take a hand in the finish. Baker's Girl rates the main danger as she is proven on the ground and beat Captain Willoughby with a little in hand last time but this looks more competitive. Waneska is another worthy of respect as she hails from a yard that can ready a newcomer and this Kallisto filly out of Waterbor should be watched in the market. Of the remainder Denis The Legend has improved with each run in the pointing field and is another that could go well but for the winner we return to Brave Face.
