Race Overview: Sister Act gets the nod over Honest Prospector and Novikov. James Fanshawe's daughter of Marju is a full-sister to the stable's former star miler Soviet Song but she let down backers with no sort of run last time out when a red-hot favourite at Nottingham. Something may have been amiss that day and jockey Jamie Spencer certainly wasn't hard on the horse once defeat was inevitable. Oscar Urbina resumes aboard him today as Mr Spencer is at Ascot and the horse must go close if back on song. Honest Prospector was an expensive purchase and showed some ability on debut (as you'd hope!). He may still be seen to better effect with more time but he looks a danger if building on that debut fourth. Of the newcomers, Insiyaabi takes the eye but watch the market for clues, whilst Novikox has improved with each run so far. Saviour Sand has the benefit of experience and ran well in defeat last time out but may find one or two improving past him, so therefore we will return to Sister Act to bounce back and win.

Race Overview: Zaahid can complete the hat-trick here at the main expense of Steady As A Rock and Double Bill. Barry Hills' Sakhee colt won at a grand price on his handicap debut at Sandown earlier this month and with similar conditions today, he looks sure to make another bold bid despite a whopping 11lb rise in the weights. Kyle is consistent but was well-held behind the selection at Sandown so whilst he may get closer, a 10lb pull in the weights for that defeat may not quite be enough. Double Bill steps up a furlong in trip which looks ideal as he appeared to be outpaced last time out over six furlongs, whilst Nadawat takes a drop in trip. Cat De Mille has the blinkers slapped on for the first time which may do the trick. Goodbye has missed several engagements of late but if he takes his chance then he cannot be ruled out, whilst Steady As A Rock returns from a lengthy break and the market should help guide to his chances. An open affair and Zaahid gets the nomination.

Race Overview: Another nightmare for punters, however we will side with Osiris Way ahead of Vegas Boys and Brunelleschi. Osiris Way is two from two in handicap company this summer and finished some way clear of Vegas Boys at Goodwood last time out. He has jumped up the weights (9lbs to be precise) and whilst that makes life trickier, he looks progressive and it wouldn't be a surprise to see him win again. Who's Winning is consistent and goes on the shortlist along with River Kirov if back on song. Vegas Boys has a 5lb pull in the weights with the selection but that may not be enough. Roman Quest could go well at a price however we are happy to return to Osiris Way as the selection.

Race Overview: Fragrance doesn't appear to be progressing as hoped and so we will side with Manaal ahead of Lavenham and Dream Scheme. Sir Michael Stoute's filly ran a decent enough race in defeat at Pontefract last time out when stepped up in trip and she possibly didn't last home on that stiff track. Now returned to the mile (a move that looks a good idea at this stage of her development), she can land the spoils in a race where three-year-old's have a decent record. Indian Feather was very consistent on the all-weather whilst this race is tougher than the contest won by Bavarica last time out. Lady Stardust should come on for her recent run whilst Pearl's Girl and Dream Scheme both return from breaks. The last-named looks of most interest and this daughter of Machiavellian should be monitored for market support now stepped up to a mile. A very interesting handicap can go to Manaal.

Race Overview: Sohraab appeared to have no excuses last time out and so cannot be fancied today. Instead the vote goes to Morniqua ahead of the plethora of last-time out winners. The selection was entered in the William Hill Trophy at York which was then abandoned and connections will be hoping to gain some recompense here. This filly has the most amazing turn of foot early on and James Given's runner was a game winner last time out at Beverley and shapes as if there is still more improvement to come. Makshoof, Bertoliver and Fathom Five all scored well last time out so all need respect, however the pick of those appears to be Fathom Five who has really appreciated the drop to five furlongs and will appreciate any rain that falls. Dress To Impress returns from a break and cannot be ruled out if freshened up, however Monrinqua looks progressive and can win again.

Race Overview: Plenty of interesting newcomers not least Ed Dunlop's pair, however we will side with the proven Al Muheer who brings some solid form to the table and should be hard to beat. Al Muheer improved on his debut when third in a Listed contest at Sandown last month and whilst it is evident that he will appreciate further in time, his experience could see him through. He has shown an ability to handle varying degrees of ground so whichever way the ground turns, it should pose no problems. Amanda Perrett's newcomers normally improve for the run but she had a good debut winner recently so Dancing Dik warrants a glance. The betting should also guide to the chances of Ed Dunlop's pair but his horses tend to need the run, so of more interest may be Timocracy whose stable can ready a newcomer. Unnefer should come on for his debut, however we have no qualms in siding with Al Muheer as the selection.

Race Overview: Murbek has had plenty of chances and as much as it pains, we will give him one more chance to win. Andmoreagain and Zach's Harmoney make it to the shortlist. The selection continues to frustrate backers having finished second on three of his five starts so far. He has shown ab aptitude for varying degrees of ground and this doesn't look the strongest of contests. Michael Jarvis continues to frequent the winner's enclosure and if he can't win this, then he'll never win. Zach's Harmoney has run two good races on the all-weather and looks the chief danger; the step up in trip looks a good move. Andmoreagain is an interesting newcomer and should be watched for market support. Held Captive and Chelsea Ballad are two who should improve for their debut runs as horses from both stables tend to do, whilst Shela House could run a big race on his debut for James Fanshawe. An intriguing affair and we will side with Murbek in the last chance saloon.

Race Overview: A competitive contest rounds off the card and many would have chances on their best form but the principals look to be Toparudi, Gallileo Figaro and Noble Minstrel and the vote is given to Toparudi. The selection was a fair third behind Cotton Eyed Joe last time out on ground softer than ideal. This faster surface should suit and with his yard continuing in good form he looks the one to be on. Gallileo Figaro rates the main danger as he beat Kristiansand with a little in hand last time out. However the drop in trip has to be a concern and he is taken on with this in mind. Noble Minstrel is another that could go well on his latest second behind Full House. That horse has since franked the foem at Royal Ascot and he will not be far away. Dhehdaah travles well in his races but often finds less than expected while Spring Dream's best form is on rattling fast ground and with this in mind for the winner we return to Toparudi.
