Race Overview: Global Strategy has done all of his winning on Southwell's Fibresand but is well treated for his return to turf and Rae Guest's gelding may be worth chancing with the main threats looking to be Sand Repeal and Sendinpost. The last mentioned, a half-sister to prolific winner Sindintank, looked one to keep on the right side of when successful at Windsor last July but has disappointed since then so looks best watched at present. Top weight Gallileo Figaro has more to do than when winning at Newcastle last time, while Madiba has claims of reversing running with Himba but may not be good enough to trouble the judge. Treason Trial is on a fair mark but is hard to win with and of more interest may be the consistent Sand Repeal. Global Strategy is potentially well treated though and he is preferred.

Race Overview: Archived showed promise over course and distance on his debut earlier this month and has to be respected on that evidence but this may go to one of the newcomers with preference for Flash Of Colour, who gets the verdict over All That Brass. The last mentioned is bred for speed and comes from a yard that can ready one first time out so he has to be respected. Maybe I Wont stepped up on the form of his debut effort when placed at Windsor earlier this month and has to be considered, while Peter Winkworth's half-brother to Hoh Hoh Hoh, Sandy Par, should come on for his first start and has to be considered. The vote though goes to Flash Of Colour. Amanda Perrett could hardly have her string in better form right now and this speedily bred colt looks a likely type on pedigree and is taken to make a winning debut.

Race Overview: Cape did not have the clearest of runs on his reappearance at Goodwood earlier this month and off the same mark today James Fanshawe's colt looks worth another chance with the main threats looking to be Keyaki and Maltese Falcon. The last mentioned disappointed when favourite for a handicap over the minimum trip at Newbury when last seen in April but should do better back over six furlongs today, although Paul Cole's gelding may be anchored by his big weight. Forest Dane is consistent but may be a shade high in the weights, while Pearly Wey is gradually slipping to a fair mark but may need more help from the handicapper. James Toller has his string in good from so Swinbrook has to be considered although a bigger threat may come from Chris Wall's Keyaki, who has shown progressive form of late. Several have chances here but none has more solid claims than Cape who gets the vote.

Race Overview: Non Compliant and Hucking Hill are both capable performers but it is never easy for a three-year-old against their older rivals at this time of year and a safer bet looks to be Yandina who gets the vote. The selection found only one too good on ground that was probably more testing than ideal on her reappearance at Leicester last month and the Barry Hills-trained filly looks worth another chance to go one better today. Takitwo has only gone up 1lb for his short-head success at Brighton last time but this looks tougher. John Akehurst has his string in good form so Dr Synn has to be respected but Yandina has solid claims and she is preferred.

Race Overview: Dawn Sky has found just one too good in each of his two starts so far, both on a soft surface, but the Michael Jarvis-trained colt should appreciate the faster ground today and gets the vote to open his account with the main dangers looking to be Mowadeh and Arctiz. The last mentioned is bred to be useful and comes from the yard of Paul Cole that is more than capable of producing one to win first time out. Similar comments apply to Luca Cumani's Montjeu colt Speed Gifted, while Just Julie is going the right way but does need to improve on all known form to trouble the judge. Mick Channon's Mowadeh has improved with each start and has to be respected but it is hard to get away from Dawn Sky who gets the vote.

Race Overview: Rose of Petra is bred to be useful but Sir Michael Stoute's filly has yet to live up to her breeding and at likely odds looks worth taking on with preference for Musical Beat, who gets the vote over Cavort. The last mentioned disappointed at Southwell last time but has solid claims on earlier form so has to be considered. Boogie Dancer made an encouraging reappearance at Sandown last month and would have to be respected if rain arrived. Harvest Joy has given little sign of encouragement in two starts this term but Rod Millman has his string in better form now. More solid claims though are held by Musical Beat though who has shown progressive form and promises to stay this longer trip.
