Race Overview: Little Jimbob looks the best option in a weak opener, Top Jaro and Everest could be the main dangers. Richard Fahey's charge wouldn't like it too soft, but if the ground dries out he has strong claims on his April run when second to Exit Smiling. That effort was off a mark of 77, which puts him clear on official rating of most of these. Top Jaro landed a similar contest to this in good style and if in the same mood this afternoon he will be a tough nut to crack on ground that will suit. Everest appears to go on any surface and looked on the way back last time out when third behind Just Lille at Beverley. The market will provide clues to the chance of the others, but Little Jimbob does look the form pick and he gets our vote.

Race Overview: Bryan Smart's juveniles are in great form and Guertino looks set to lose his maiden tag this afternoon, Shabnaam and Cat whistle may provide most danger. The seelction has shown plenty of ability in three races to date and chased home the well regarded Rose Ciog last time out. The third home gave the form a massive boost when winning at Haydock recently and so the form is rock solid. Cat Whistle is from the same stable as Rose Ciog and so has to be respected following a promising debut effort in a decent looking race at Haydock. Meanwhile Shabnaam comes into the argument having finished well to take fourth behind Lady Avenger at Windsor. The newcomers look nothing special and so it should go to the form horse and that appears to be Guertino.

Race Overview: Bold Haze is starting to look a well handicapped horse and he gets the vote here ahead of Eternal Legacy and Making Music. At his peak Sally Hall's gelding was rated 70 but has since dropped steadily down the weights following some poor efforts. However there were definitely signs of a form revival last time out and as that was his first run of the season he should improve. Eternal Legacy is getting better with each run this season and although probably handicapped up to his best he should stay play a major role. Making Music is not easy to win with but hasn't been beaten far on her three runs this season and is another dropping down the weights. Funfair Wane would murder these at his best and could be vying for some place money, however the most likely winner looks to be Bold Haze and he gets the verdict.

Race Overview: It has taken Hotham a long time to regain winning form but he did it niceley at Pontefract last time and he can follow up this afternoon, Monte Major and Throw The Dice could be the main dangers. The selection was a well regaraded two-year-old when with Henry Candy but had struggled since joining the current stable. However he took advantage of a dropping handicap mark to beat some seasoned campaigners last time and if in the same mood he will be hard to beat. Monte Major also returned to winning ways last time out when landing a competitive handicap at Wolverhampton. His recent turf run at Goodwood also stands up to close inspection so he has to be a big threat. Throw The Dice is not the force of old but hasn't run abad race this season and should again be in the shake up. Kings College Boy is proving very frustrating to follow this season but is very well treated at present and cannot easily be dismissed. However there was alot to like about Hotham's victory last time and a he can defy a six pound penalty.

Race Overview: Coconut Queen has to be the choice in a race where many are out of form, Five Wishes and Karma Llama may be the best alternatives. The selection has obvious ability but has been missing the break recently. The trainer is hopeful that the cheek pieces can make her concentrate at the start and if she does get off on terms she should take a great deal of beating. Five Wishes showed improved form on softish ground at Ayr last time out, her handicap debut. If the ground doesn't dry out she should be involved in the finish. Karma Llama is from a stable in cracking form and she ran some terrific races last season. She should be spot on for this following two quiet runs this campaign and it would be no surprise to see her reach the frame. The best of the rest could be Handsomis, but if she starts on terms, Coconut Queen should be good enough to land first prize this afternoon.

Race Overview: Barataria can prove his maiden win last time was no fluke by beating Top Dirham and Emperor's Well. Robin Bastiman's charge didn't beat anything special last time out Catterick, but he did win it with a little authority. The form has recieved a bit of a boost with the fourth and fifth home doing well next time out and so the race may have been a bit better than we first thought. Top Dirham is not getting any younger but did run a solid race last time out at Newcastle and could make it into the frame. Meanwhile Emperor's Well is looking very well treated at present and it would be no surprise to see this one bounce back to form. Of the others Regent's Secret looked on the way back last time out and could go well despite top-weight, however Barataria hasn't been too harshly treated by the handicapper and he can make it back to back victories.

Race Overview: The two recent winners Toparudi and Global Strategy can fight out the finish here, with the former just getting the verdict, Wulimaster may prove best of the others. The selection was a game winner last time out when just holding the good yardstick Hugs Destiny. The handicapper has been kind by just adding four pounds to his mark and he can take full advantage this afternoon. Global Strategy landed an all-weather contest at Southwell last time out, beating Ansad in good style. His turf form has not been as impressive but he does get in here on a decent mark and should prove a difficult customer to beat. Wulimaster has shown bits and pieces of form this season and it would be no surprise to see this one go close if staying this longer trip. In a pretty modest handicap Cotton Eyed Joe is another to consider for the places, but our idea of the winner is Toparudi.
