3:15 Azure Blue (10/1) returns to racing after nearly a year off in a bid to retain last year's 12/1 Duke of York victory (video).

That followed a 1st time out winning run, so the 10/1 on offer, at the moment, of a repeat, is a decent price. It's not often I find any backable odds on the grass.

A Betfair punter put together a 4 horse winning S.P acca, for £2 EW, yesterday (sat 11 may), paying out 54K in total.

The across the cards bet, over 20 minutes of racing, spanned 4 meetings. Nottingham, Lingfield, Ascot and Haydock. Three of them jogged up, one led close home. Very nice.

6:30 Swiss Ace (14/1) is a little bit of a course specialist seeing as his 3 wins in England have all been here over the straight 7.

His best run was a C&D win off of 81 in a C4. This is a C3, so he'll be up against a few better horses who have to give him weight.

Can he beat them? Only if he's fit and in form. Two consecutive 2nd placed runs at Southwell in March and April, the latter 14 days ago, tells me he is.
