8:00 Raatea (40/1) has dropped to a mark he is well capable of winning at for Julie Camacho. Going off of 79, he has never been under 80. With the in and out form he's shown of late, it is no surprise the handicapper has relented.

He'll be asked to sit and watch just behind the leaders, then pounce with a furlong to go. The 40/1 is generous enough to catch my eye, for a horse that has gone very well in better AW handicaps than this in the past. He is 2 from 7 on the AW.

I'll take my chances at the odds, that he surprises them all.
