Southwell Bets - Wed Feb 12 2025 (afternoon meeting)




5:05 Reinforce (20/1) has been training up at Newcastle and is obviously well thought of back home at the Katy Brown stable in Ireland.

He has a couple of decent runs back home to his name. But the final piece of the jigswa? It's the booking of top AW jockey Rossa Ryan that really catches my eye.

The 20/1 on offer, is big enough for me to take the chance, that his form in Ireland is good enough to warrant coming over here, to nick a few AW handicaps.

4:20 Aram (20/1) ran ok over the straight Newcastle 7f last time out, but she was very likely to desperately in need of the run.

She's come over from Dubai where she did sort of ok, but it's a tough school out there.

If that run plus a months training at home at the Burke Middleham stable has put her right, she might just surprise these lot over the easy 7 at Southwell, in a basement handicap, at nice odds.
