12:50 Topweight Sterling Knight (22/1) seems to have been overlooked by the punters judging by the drift from an overnight 8's out to 22/1. He was the 2nd fav on the tissue at 6's.

He's in decent nick after winning last time out in a C2 at Chelmsford, 5 weeks ago. The 2lb rise for that win is more than fair.

22/1 to take this lower grade C3 hcp over the same distance, albeit at the tougher course at Lingfield, is worth a bet.



It's an early start at Lingfield today. A 7 race card with 6 C4+ handicaps. The last on the card is the C2 Winter Oaks Fillies Handicap. French import Timetoshine @ 20's was nearly a bet. I am not convinced she won't need the run, otherwise I'd have been on.
