If it keeps raining tonight, the horse will shorten in price come the start of the race.
I doubt the extra mile of the National will be a problem, the horse has won 7 of his 13 races to date over the jumps on sticky going up to 3miles.

Always front rank, went 2nd at the elbow, stayed on but always held.
3rd Gaillard Du Mesnil 10/1
Off the pace towards rear, good headway on inside chasing leaders and switched left approaching 2 out, stayed on strongly run-in, went 3rd at the elbow, nearest finish.

Wore ear plugs and mounted on course, off the pace towards rear, still plenty to do when hampered on inside 2 out, stayed on well run-in, nearest finish.
