Rebel Duke makes the short list and though making a step up in grade, he’s the obvious selection in a race which is a class 2 handicap in name only. Whiskey Creek is overlooked from out of the handicap and poor draw.

Tajneed could be anything and hails from a yard where even the stable cat is winning races. However, as an All Weather debutant he fails my litmus test.

Cheveton is unexposed and picked up wins at grade 1 course’s last year. Has previous on this surface, if he can continue his form running fresh, in my book he looks the likely winner.
