Race Overview: Off The Record was good value for his winning reappearance here over six furlongs eight days ago, should not be inconvenienced by the drop to the minimum trip and is taken to follow up here at the main expense of Crow's Nest Lad and Pirner's Brig. The last mentioned has been holding his form well of late but Mick Easterby's colt may be a shade high in the weights so is probably best watched. Morinqua put up a decent performance when making a winning return at Nottingham recently and has to be respected but an 8lb rise since then leaves James Given's filly with more to do. The consistent Bookiesindex Boy has place claims although a bigger threat seems likely to come from the lightly raced Crow's Nest Lad. Off The Record won with plenty in hand here last time though and is taken to follow up.
