Race Overview: Apex gets the confident vote in this handicap with Mahmjra and Jordan's Light rating the main dangers. The selection has won his last two races in good style notably when beating Senescal last time out with a little in hand and although he is rising in the weights he looks progressive and under conditions that suit he is taken to win again. Mahmjra rates the main danger on his latest third behind William's Well but he just gave the impression the handicaper had caught up with him there and he is taken on with this in mind. Jordan's Light is another that could go well but he has yet to prove he stays this far. Of the remainder Sugitani could go well if fit after a 292 day absence but for the winner we are happy to return to the progressive Apex.
