Race Overview: In the finale, the short list contains Gigs Magic, Rowan Warning and Gizmondo, with the selection being Gigs Magic. Garrulous attracted money over course and distance last time so is probably capable of better. Revolve remains eight pounds above his best course and distance winning mark, while Gizmondo clearly has some ability but he was inclined to hang at Wolverhampton last time out. Rowan Warning ran well over further last time and the drop in trip might help, while Secam's form of a year ago would give him claims but, of course, he has not been running so well of late. Finally, given that he was racing over a trip short of arguably his best, Gigs Magic did well to dead heat and, coming into this in good heart, looks set to go well. As such, he gets the vote.
