Race Overview: Just A Dancer impressed on soft ground at Leicester last time and can follow up here, with Spanish Bounty and Carleton the most likely dangers. Barry Hills' runner ran with credit over c&d here in April and handled firm ground okay that day. Cut proved no obstacle last time and with a Queen Mary entry connections clearly think she is a decent sort, so she can underline that here whatever conditions prevail. Spanish Bounty ran on well to land a 6f contest here earlier in the month and that was far more encouraging than his debut. If he can produce that sort of effort again back over the minimum then he will be closely involved. Carleton enjoyed the juice in the ground when winning a Windsor novices' contest on debut but was out of his depth last time. The drop in class should be in his favour and he looks another for the frame, but our preference here is for Just A Dancer to waltz home.

Race Overview: An open maiden where the principals look to be Perfect Flight, I Dont Do Walkin and Supermassive Muse and we will take Perfect Flight to score. The selection showed improvement from her first run to her second when a three length fourth at Goodwood last time. She handles a sound surface well but being by Hawk Wing she should also be able to cope if the rains come. Definitely going the right way, she can make the most of the drop back in trip to take this. Supermassive Muse was just touched off over this trip at Haydock last time, and Seb Sanders gets the leg up. He is in tremendous form at present and might be able to lift his mount to an even greater effort this time. I Dont Do Walkin was found wanting over 6f last time, when not quite seeing out her effort, but this drop back to the minimum looks to be in her favour and she can again make the frame. Little else makes appeal and we take Perfect Flight to score.

Race Overview: A big field for this seller and a big drop in class for our selection, Mafaheem, who can provide Seb Sanders with another winner, while Campeon, Full Spate and Going Skint are among others who can go well. The selection is officially rated much higher than the rest of these, and while we would add a note of cuation to that, Simon Dow's gelding is dropped significantly here and has a top pilot booked, and that may be all he needs to get his nose in front. The veteran Full Spate is still running to a level of form to make him competitive here, while Campeon enjoys it around here and over this 6f trip, though he would not want any juice in the ground. Going Skint is another to have scored over this sort of trip and would probably not mind some rain to help his chances. He's not in bad form of late in the context of this poor affair and first time blinkers might just help him get into the money. However, our choice here has to be Mafaheem.

Race Overview: Not the strongest handicap in the world and our short list comprises of Abounding, Potentiale, Down The Brick and Blockley and we take Potentiale to score. The selection could find no extra up the Westwood hill at Beverley over this trip last time, but that was his first try over this trip and he is worth another chance. A 10f winner at that same track previously, the form of that recent run has not worked out badly and off the same mark here he can take advantage. Abounding will have his supporters after a polytrack success over the trip at Wolverhampton. However, a 9lb rise for that looks pretty steep and he will do well to follow up. Down The Brick has plummeted through the weights, dropping from 75 to 60 and on the face of it he must have some sort of chance. However, Rod Millman's charge has not been showing us enough during that period to warrant the nod here. Of the others, Blockley improved for the step up to 10f last time and could be even better over further, so watch the market for clues, but without that knowledge we will stick with Potentiale.

Race Overview: One of four handicaps on the card, this one is reserved for the fillies, but as usual with this sort of race, don't weigh in too heavily with the readies. We will side with World Spirit to see off Fangorn Forest, Blue Line and Lii Najma. The selection improved enough last year to pick up a Kempton maiden in November and then made a pleasing reappearance at Windsor in May when the soft ground wouldn't have been totally in her favour. Nevertheless, she proved she handles at least some cut and with rain forecast that is a plus, and we take her to score here. Fangorn Forest was out of sorts last time when upped in class but back in this grade she will be a serious threat, though ideally she would prefer further. Blue Line appears at this track for the first time, having put up three decent runs at Lingfield lately. Her penultimate start over this trip was when beating Sailor King, who went in at Kempton on Wednesday night, so she is clearly likely to be heavily involved. Of the others Lii Najma is still below her most recent winning mark and went well last time, so don't discount her, but preference is for World Spirit to be Bath's first lady.

Race Overview: A typically open sprint handicap here where Misaro gets the nod ahead of Matterofact, One Way Ticket, Who's Winning and Chatshow. The selection ran well enough at Brighton last time and had previously enjoyed a hat-trick of wins over both 5f and 6f. He is clearly higher in the weights now, but still on a fair mark, and he can handle cut so if the rains come he should not be too inconvenienced, so with all that in the plus column he is the one for us. Matterofact has gone up 6lb for a defeat of Ashes over 5f last time and has never won over 6f. However, he loves this place and can still get involved. One Way Ticket is on a losing run of 16 starts since July of last year. However, Milton Bradley's entire has been in better form just lately and if it remains on the quick side then he can go close. Who's Winning competes over his optimum trip here and is 2lb below his career best winning mark, so he has every chance, while Chatshow has won twice over c&d and on both fast and soft ground. He keeps running well in defeat but needs a career best to score here and Misaro is just preferred.

Race Overview: Voice Mail enjoys it here and can go in again, with Itcanbedone Again, Beneking, Danzare and Monmouthshire others considered. Drawback saw off Beneking at Lingfield over 7f last time, and they meet again on the same terms, but the top weight has never appeared to get further than a mile and may be found wanting. Beneking is perhaps more likely of that pair to get home and may win that particular argument. Distance winner Danzare showed a return to form at Yarmouth last time and if overcoming a car park draw can go well again, while Monmouthshire - a previous c&d winner - is out of sorts and best watched at present. Voice Mail has enjoyed five out of six career wins here, one of which came over this trip. His recent form has not been too bad, excluding his latest effort, and as he reserves his best for here we will take a chance with him in the finale.
