Betting Shop Evening Opening & Closing Times Law Changed

In September of 2007, bookmakers with highstreet and rural (onland) Betting Shops will be able to stay open until late in the evenings (10pm) via new opening and closing time law changes set down by the UK Gambling Commission

However, seeing as it is British summertime now, the bookies are allowed to open until late in the evening until the end of August, that means UK Highstreet betting shops are open until late in the evening forever. So now you know.

UK punters will be able to wager on the greyhound or the horse until late in the evenings, even at winter time. There are always plenty of greyhound races to bet on, even if there are no evening horse meetings on the go.

If adverse weather hits the greyhound and horse racing fixtures during the winter, gamblers can play bingo pretty much, by wagering on the random generator powered Virtual greyhound and horses. Better known in my local bookie as cartoon racing.
