Winthorpe is drawn in stall 1 and has a couple of reasonably slow starters on his outside. I am expecting Winthorpe to get a relatively easy lead from the inside rail and if the horse is allowed to front run, he can possibly reverse the form with Maison Dieu and hold off the late chargers off his low weight at odds of around the 10/1 mark. I think Winthorpe is best at 5 furlongs and he weakens quite badly at 6. So over this minimum trip of 5 he may just be able to make all posts a winning one, although it will be tight at the finish if he does prevail.
