Yes Mr Sandracer it was. This year has been critical in terms of understanding what it takes to be a consistent and profitable winner.
Previous to my “coming to Jesus talk” with myself in November my record keeping and overall approach to punting was still hap hazard. Therefore I could not determine my strengths or weaknesses in a game where mistakes are punished by the gambling gods.
Two changes to my approach have turned things around recently a. specialisation in All Weather Racing b. tracking my selections live and in the open via OLBG.

In respect to a. I am becoming more confident in finding value bets on the A/W, the measure and relative success of the process is tracked by b.
To be honest I am not too bothered if I consistently miss punting a big priced winner with cold hard cash.
My focus and objective is CONSISTENCY!
There is so much racing these days I’m not missing anything. Once I start backing my selections with real cash if my methods are sound the money will come.
Until then I'm in data collection mode and tracking my bets in public keeps it real (well in a virtual sense)
