My arch nemesis Pawan runs in the 2:40 and based on the pace in the race, today may be his day. However he ALWAYS finds a way to lose the race. Also cannot split him from Godfrey Street and Tartatartufata.
The 3:10 is ultra contentious so was going to lay Dasheena who needs to improve again after a career high in his last race. Who’s going to beat him?
Run Free who will dominate proceedings in a race devoid of pace? Kensington who is on a winning handicap mark? David Barron is a demon at getting horses ready for the Southwell surface so the duck eggs in front of All Weather debutant Imperial Sword should be ignored. Reg Hollingshead like Mr Barron knows how to get one ready for the fibresand surface so the 442 day course absence may not inconvenience.
No bet today but I will be watching with interest.

I know.. thats why I avoided the race. In A/W handicaps when my opinion matches the market its usually a big flashing red light that I've overlooked something and I should pass the race.
Noticed on the exchanges that Mr Cougar was solid in the market even though he was a number of pounds inferior to others in the race. Seems like your money made it to the track and that yet again Betfair is a fairly accurate measure of a horses chances in the race.
After seeing the races today glad the reopening of Southwell has not changed the way the rack rides..
