RACE COMMENTARY5:00 Tommytwohoots (16/1) for starters, runs from a 1lb out of the handicap. I think maybe that stat alone has put punters off. I make him an 8/1 shot at best. The 16's available is too high I'd say.
Being drawn out wide does not equate to a draw bias over the 6f at Wolverhampton. It's not helpful though and I feel it stumps Tommy's running style more than most 6f horses.
He's drawn in trap 6 today, not 10 and 12 etc like he has been lately. I am hoping he can get into the race today, early, then sit behind the leaders and get dragged along by momentum, rather than racing hard in midfield.
He can then maybe use his mid race squirt to get into a winning position and hold on for dear life to win at big odds. EW punters will be on him I reckon.
