12 months ago the horse was rated a stone higher. 24 months ago would have jogged this race and won. If he retains a modicum of ability he can win this.
Last month Hayley Turner tried to win a handicap on him from the front over a mile. He got caught with a furlong to go and weakened.
Last time up Rab Havlin raced wide, just behind the leaders, weakened out of it again. He retains the ride.
I think he's going to win a race as soon as he's fit enough to. I'm taking the chance that in his 3rd race in 6 weeks, he's ready to go and win a low grade stakes race at a big price.
