RACE COMMENTARY8:00 Forge Valley Lad (20/1) has doubled in price overnight from 10/1 to 20's. Understandable, because to win, he'll have to post arguably a joint career best effort at 7 years old, as he's only ever won once at today's 75 mark (6 months ago).
With Luke Morris riding, his chance lies with the Chelmsford long sweeping bends suiting, as he at times struggles to settle into races and find a rhythm. If he doesn't, he won't get home. I note though, over 2 years ago admittedly, he won his only run over the course, with Morris aboard, over the 10f he takes on today.
### Interesting, especially as a no hoper at 20/1 in a small field. I think he can rattle them up the run in. Cheers, Sandracer.
