Race Overview: Elna Bright is taken to get the better of Shatter Resistant and Sinead of Aglish in this competitive opener. The selection is a lightly-raced colt and he has shown plenty of promise on each of his two runs to date. He was second behind a decent sort at Chepstow last time and a reproduction of that effort should see him tough to beat here, although the draw could have been kinder to him. Shatter Resistant is interesting as the yard do well with their runners here and he showed up well for a long way last time here on ground that was far from ideal. He is also well drawn so he is entitled to plenty of respect. Sinead of Aglish has been placed in all of her starts so far and she was a little unlucky when second behind Yasinisi at Redcar last time. Her pilot Seb Sanders rides this track extremely well and she has to be considered from a fair draw. Brian Meehan's runners normally come on for their first run so Adam Eterno could improve, although he was well beaten on his debut at Newbury. An interesting contest to open the card and the vote is given to Elna Bright.

Race Overview: One Way Ticket is a course specialist and he can land this event at the main expense of Harrison's Flyer and What Do You Know. The selection was well backed before running creditably from a wide draw last time to chase home Sir Loin at Wolverhampton. He loves this track, has the plum draw and should take plenty of beating. Harrison's Flyer ran well last ime when third behind Matteroffact at Goodwood and he is a dual course and distance winner so has to enter calculations here today. What Do You Know finished just in front of Harrison's Flyer in that Goodwood race and he has the better draw today. On these terms there should be very little between them again. Chatshow is well drawn and goes well here so is another to consider, but for the winner we will stick with One Way Ticket.

Race Overview: Rowan Pursuit can land this claimer at the main expense of Mamichor and Fire At Will. The selection finished fifth behind Nikki Bea last time and prior to that he had raced in a competitive handicap. This will not take a great deal of winning and from a plum draw he should be able to make his presence felt in this lowly grade. Fire At Will finished in mid-division at Lingfield last time in this grade but has only managed one career win so far. He is entitled to get competitive in this weak contest but the percentage call is to take him on. Mamichor shaped with some promise in a handicap last time but he has yet to win a race and he will need to build on that improved effort to score. Colonel Cotton finished down the field behind Mamichor last time so looks opposable, and we will return to Rowan Pursuit to land the prize.

Race Overview: Mutual Friend, Lapina and Seeking The Buck are shortlisted in this handicap and the vote is given to the first mentioned. The selection ran well on his handicap debut at Lingfield when he beat Jaady. He has a penalty for that success but he still looks as though he could be well treated and for that reason we will nominate him. Lapina won at Bath last time but it was a weak handicap and the simple truth is she does not look to be the most straightforward. Seeking The Buck ran with promise in a maiden at Beverley which was won by Soccerjackpot. He is making his handicap debut here and is certainly worth a look in the market. Crossing The Line is from a yard in top form but has plenty to prove at present and we prefer the claims of Mutual Friend who gets the nomination.

Race Overview: Stamford Blue can land the four-timer at the main expense of Quantum Leap and High Ambition. The selection arrives here right on top of his game and he escapes a penalty for his win in an apprentice handicap last time. He scored with plenty in hand that day so is difficult to oppose here. Quantam Leap was only beaten a short-head by Takeitwo here last time but he did have the race run to suit that day and although he should get competitive again he may just find one too good. High Ambition is clearly a much better horse on turf than on the all-weather and he showed that with a smooth success at Yarmouth last time. He does have a penalty for that win but it would not be a surprise to see him go close today. Night Wolf goes well here and could prove best of the rest, but Stamford Blue is in great form and should be hard to beat.

Race Overview: Gold Digger Miss gets the confident vote in the finale over Zahour Al Yasmeen and Rosie Cross. The selection is a nice filly and she has run well on each of her four starts to date. She did not get home over 7f last time so the drop in trip should suit today and she should be capable of getting her head in front. Zahour Al Yasmeen was a little disappointing last time and the worry is that this trip might be a little on the sharp side for her. Rosie Cross was well beaten at Lingfield last time and again there are doubts over whtehr she will find this trip ideal. Dowlleh has run well here in the past so should not be discounted lightly, but for the winner we will stick with Gold Digger Miss.
