7:00 Intercessor (25/1) is running well, but his last couple of runs he's had troubles getting out of the stalls. For a front runner, that's armageddon. He still managed a neck 2nd place 2 races ago.
His mark at 76 is as high as ever in his career, at 7yrs old. Confirmation for me that he's in form. He's done well in his 5 races for his new yard with 2014 National winners Newland & Insole.
Today he goes from trap 1 over a mile. He's got to get out quick and get rolling along. If the opposition think they can let him do what he wants, he could hold them all off at silly odds.
8:30 Voyeur (12/1) is a lightly raced 3yo Johnston maiden in a handicap. He gets 4lb for age. I noted a glimmer of ability twice with this guy. Once on the All-Weather, another time when upped in trip to 10f.
Today he has the AW surface and is upped again to 11f. Also and probably most importantly, down in grade to a C6.
