Much as Press Express only landed a seller last time, it did come on soft going and will have done his confidence good and he is not badly weighted based on his best 2006 efforts. Sporting Gesture has twice won over course and distance but his best form is all on good or faster going. Shape Up has been beaten since being revised for his Nottingham romp in April, while you can build the case for Cotton Eyed Joe based on his best 2006 form. Day By Day showed some promise behind Truly Enchanting, a handicap winner off a mark of 80 since, and she can go well, particularly given that her stable is in better form now. Kunte Kinteh was placed at Southwell last time but the form only rates in the high 60s, which is fairly modest, and Karl Burke's debutante, Lady Johanna cost 90,000 euros so is one to watch in the betting. Mia's Boy showed plenty of promise in his first two starts and drops back in trip now after a 10-furlong effort.
