The selection hails from a yard that has a good record in these events and this former point winner will not need to be anything special to take a hand in the finish. Baker's Girl rates the main danger as she is proven on the ground and beat Captain Willoughby with a little in hand last time but this looks more competitive. Waneska is another worthy of respect as she hails from a yard that can ready a newcomer and this Kallisto filly out of Waterbor should be watched in the market. Of the remainder Denis The Legend has improved with each run in the pointing field and is another that could go well but for the winner we return to Brave Face.

No Silk Form Horse/Trainer Jockey Previous Odds Odds

1 UF Ambrosinni
R H York Mr P York SP Bet
2 2-1 Brave Face
P F Nicholls S Thomas SP Bet
3 5P1-111 Dennis The Legend
J G Cann Mr N Scholfield SP Bet
4 Hiding Away
O J Carter Mr D Burton SP Bet
5 6P Morning Starlight
P R Rodford J Harris SP Bet
6 7-1 What A Biscuit
D A Rees R Johnson SP Bet
7 6-51 Baker's Girl
Mrs N Pook S Walsh SP Bet
Favourite SP Bet
2nd Favourite SP Bet

Non Runners:
Waneska

Bet365 Early Odds Betting Page Archive
<...

Bet365 Early Odds Betting Page Archive

8.45 Newton Abbot
Each-way 1/5 1-2-3
2m 5f 110y Chase
Best Odds Guaranteed on all races.

Race Overview: Granite Man gets the vote here with Flying Forme and Algenon rating the main dangers. The selection was a fair fourth behind Lets Go Dutch last time out, looks sure to improve for the step up in trip and with his yard continuing in good form he looks the one to be on. Flying Forme rates the main danger, on his best form he is sure to strip fitter for his latest run but he looks high enough in the weights for what he has actually achieved and he is taken on with this in mind. Algenon is another that could go well on his best form but he looks the stable's second string on jockey bookings and he will need to improve for first time blinkers if he is to score. Lough Rynn would be a danger to all on his win a couple of runs ago but he has since disappointed for no apparent reason, while Lost In Normandy is best when allowed to dominate but he looks sure to be taken on for the lead and with this in mind for the winner we return to Granite Man who looks progressive.

No Silk Form Horse/Trainer Jockey Previous Odds Odds

1 573/74-P Algenon
P J Hobbs T J O'brien 12/1 Bet
2 803P4-6 Flying Forme
P J Hobbs R Johnson 9/2 Bet
3 21115-4 Granite Man
Jonjo O'Neill A P McCoy 11/8 6/5 Bet
4 8/P06-86 Haxton
Ms J S Doyle S Curran 14/1 Bet
6 PF33-1P Lough Rynn
Tim Vaughan A Thornton 25/1 Bet
7 57F4-P4 Matrix
J H Berwick T O'Connor 25/1 Bet
8 8P50-66 Opportunity Knocks
N J Hawke T Scudamore 25/1 Bet
9 15/44P-P Paris Latino
P R Rodford S Walsh 66/1 Bet
10 4F7P-45 River Mere
Mrs P A Rigby T Messenger 33/1 40/1 Bet
12 768019- Temper Lad
J D Frost J Tizzard 16/1 Bet
13 174-P43 Travello
M F Harris S E Durack 6/1 Bet
14 P04-U Upham Lad
B G Powell T Siddall 33/1 Bet
15 21U-132 Vanilla Man
Tim Vaughan L Aspell 11/1 Bet
16 4/F000-5 Fairly High
N G Ayliffe G Supple 25/1 Bet
Favourite SP Bet
2nd Favourite SP Bet

Non Runners:
Lost In Normandy
Sandy Gold

Bet365 Early Odds Betting Page Archive
<...

Bet365 Early Odds Betting Page Archive

8.15 Newton Abbot
Each-way 1/5 1-2-3
2m 3f Handicap Hurdle
Best Odds Guaranteed on all races.

Race Overview: A tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be Take The Stand, Critical Stage and Nawamees and the narrow vote is given to Nawamees. The selection was eighth behind Pearl King last time out but he looks sure to be suited by this longer trip and softer ground and off what remains a handy mark he looks a value bet. Take The Stand rates the main danger as he returns to hurdles off a much lower mark than his chase rating but his best form is on fast ground and he looks opposable on that basis. Critical Stage won well last time out when beating Rashida but that was in a seller and he will need to improve to win this off his higher mark. Saratogane has the abilty to win off this mark but has two ways of running so can not be put forward with any confidence. Briscoe Place's best form is on fast ground while Dad's Elect may need the run after a 730 day absence and for the winner we return to Nawamees.

No Silk Form Horse/Trainer Jockey Previous Odds Odds

1 16P0P7- Take The Stand
P Bowen T J O'brien SP Bet
3 11U437- Briscoe Place
Jonjo O'Neill A P McCoy SP Bet
4 18410-7 Saratogane
D Pipe T Scudamore SP Bet
5 42U4P-5 Hill Forts Timmy
J W Mullins W P Kavanagh 12/1, 9/1 SP Bet
6 P06222/ Dad's Elect
Dr R D P Newland D Elsworth SP Bet
7 135PP1- Critical Stage
J D Frost R Johnson SP Bet
8 4260P0- Aldiruos
A W Carroll W Hutchinson SP Bet
9 0/3R110- Top Trees
W S Kittow T J Murphy SP Bet
Favourite SP Bet
2nd Favourite SP Bet

Non Runners:
Nawamees

Bet365 Early Odds Betting Page Archive
<...

Bet365 Early Odds Betting Page Archive

7.45 Newton Abbot
Each-way 1/4 1-2
2m 110y Handicap Chase
Best Odds Guaranteed on all races.

Race Overview: Saorsie gets the confident vote in this handicap chase with Gipsy Cricketer and Noadibou heading the list of dangers. The selection was a fair third behind Armariver last time out. That form looks rock solid in the context of this race and off what looks a handy mark he will be hard to beat. Gipsy Cricketer rates the main danger on his latest fourth behind Dev, but his best form is over fast ground and he is taken on with this in mind. Noadibou is another that could go well on his latest third behind Fort Ord especially as the drop in distance looks sure to suit. Saby is from a shrewd yard and is worth a cautionary look in the market. Of the remainder Only Dreams could improve in first time blinkers and is another to note in the market with his yard in form but Saorsie ran well last time out and he looks the one to be on.

No Silk Form Horse/Trainer Jockey Previous Odds Odds

1 9264-57 Wild Power
Mrs H R J Nelmes O Nelmes 11/1 Bet
2 4421-B1 Gone Missing
O J Carter Mr J E Tudor 4/1 Bet
3 7/32536- Saby
L Corcoran T J Murphy 11/1 10/1 Bet
4 4636-03 Noadibou
Evan Williams Christian Williams 4/1 9/2 Bet
5 415-P64 Gipsy Cricketer
M Scudamore T Scudamore 6/1 Bet
6 P31-P33 Saorsie
Mrs L J Young M Bradburne 5/2 Bet
7 000/77-P Only Dreams
Jonjo O'Neill A P McCoy 11/2 Bet
Favourite SP Bet
2nd Favourite SP Bet
Non Runners:

Bet365 Early Odds Betting Page Archive
<...

Bet365 Early Odds Betting Page Archive

7.15 Newton Abbot
Each-way 1/5 1-2-3
2m 1f Hurdle
Best Odds Guaranteed on all races.

Race Overview: Esprit de Corps, Jack Rolfe and Marker look the three to concentrate on in this maiden hurdle and the tentative nomination is given to Esprit de Corps. The selection has won at up to two and a quater miles on the flat represents powerful connections is sure to know his job and he looks the one to be on on this his debut over hurdles. Jack Rolfe rates the main danger on his latest third behind Linden Boy. He is sure to have come on for the run and should be watched in the market. Marker was a sprinter on the flat and won over six furlongs, if his stamina lasts out he would be a danger to all but that is a big if. Shannonvale was second in a point to point last time out but the drop in trip has to be of concern while Darusso was well beaten in a grade one hurdle last time out, this looks easier and he could go well at a price but for the winner we are happy to return to Esprit de Corps, even though he will ultimately be better over a longer trip.

No Silk Form Horse/Trainer Jockey Previous Odds Odds

1 6433/ Anko
J D Frost T Scudamore SP Bet
2 Esprit de Corps
P J Hobbs R Johnson SP Bet
4 70P8- Listen Son
N G Ayliffe G Supple SP Bet
5 Marker
J D Frost J Tizzard SP Bet
6 PPP2-4U Mister Legend
Mrs L J Young M Bradburne SP Bet
7 3U3/1P-2 Shannonvale
Miss V Williams S Thomas SP Bet
8 8/3279-7 Sun Hill
L Corcoran L Stephens 33/1 SP Bet
9 22F/82 That's My Boy
J G Cann T J O'brien SP Bet
10 345/8- Thistle
L Corcoran T J Murphy SP Bet
11 36320- Darusso
J S Moore S E Durack 4/1 SP Bet
12 950-5 Monte Major
Evan Williams Paul Moloney SP Bet
13 00/0P0P- Bora Shaamit
P F Nicholls L Heard SP Bet
14 PU5/0P-2 Lost Direction
O J Carter C Honour SP Bet
Favourite SP Bet
2nd Favourite SP Bet

Non Runners:
Jack Rolfe

Bet365 Early Odds Betting Page Archive
<...

Bet365 Early Odds Betting Page Archive

6.45 Newton Abbot
Each-way 1/5 1-2-3
2m 3f Handicap Hurdle
Best Odds Guaranteed on all races.

Race Overview: Ah Yeah gets the vote in this poor seller with South Wind Rising and Percipient rating the main dangers. The selection was a fair second in similar grade behind Shannon Lodge last time out and off the same mark here he looks the one to be on with most of his rivals having shown little of late. South Wind Rising rates the main danger on his latest fourth behind Dead Mans Dante especially if the fitting of first time cheek pieces improve him and he should be watched in the market. Percipient is another that could go well on his best form as he is dropping in grade but his rider is very inexperienced and he looks opposable on that basis. Noble Calling is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he looks weighted up to his best while Mariday would not want much rain, and with this in mind for the winner we return to Ah Yeah who at least looks sure to run his race.

No Silk Form Horse/Trainer Jockey Previous Odds Odds

1 S75/3P-P Double Mystery
K J Burke Mr E Cookson SP Bet
2 5PP-935 Noble Calling
R J Hodges Mr N Scholfield SP Bet
3 3733/U7 Mr Tim
J S Smith Mr P Callaghan SP Bet
5 95/7P-66 Percipient
D R Gandolfo Miss C Boxall SP Bet
6 256-440 Mariday
D Pipe Mr D Pick SP Bet
7 0700-94 South Wind Rising
Evan Williams Mr J E Tudor 10/3 SP Bet
8 PP/4P-4P Judy's Lad
Mrs H R J Nelmes Mr C Dailly 14/1 SP Bet
9 PP9P-12 Ah Yeah
J D Frost Mr S T Payne SP Bet
10 P473P- Brilliant
M F Harris Mr Felix De Giles 12/1, 10/1 SP Bet
11 33-F5P4 Running Times
H J Manners Mr D Bass SP Bet
Favourite SP Bet
2nd Favourite SP Bet

Non Runners:
Romil Star
