Heavy snow fell around Southwell this morning, and racing has been called off. Apparently the all weather fibresand track is ok, but all roads leading to Southwell are snowed out completely.

Southwell clerk of the course Roderick Duncan said:
"We've had to abandon. The track is raceable but everywhere else is covered in deep snow. The roads are treacherous and people are struggling to get to the track so it is a decision on safety grounds."
