Race Overview: Artdeal and Alexander Monarchy are both previous winners and they can fight out the finish of this claimer, My Sheila's Dream may do best of the others. The selection landed a class five maiden here in April and hasn't been disgraced since. His recent effort behind the impressive Wigrams Turn reads well and a big run is expected. Alexander Monarchy was successful in this grade when beating the good yardstick Rio Taffeta. She was well beaten next time but the ground may have been too soft and this faster surface should suit her better. My Sheila's Dream won first time out but reared up at the start last time. If she behaves today she should get inviolved in the finish. The rest make little appeal and so we return to Artdeal as the likely winner.

Race Overview: Advancement gets a narrow vote in a wide open affair, Sam's Secret and Flying Bantam look to be the main rivals. The selection has to shoulder top-weight but has earned it with some solid efforts. A recent spin around Southwell will have blown away the cobwebs and he still looks on a decent mark. Sam's Secret has hit form in sellers, winning at Musselburgh and Redcar. He has struggled in handicaps off this sort of mark befiore, but he may have improved and looks a big danger to all. Stable companion of the selection Flying Bantam has been knocking on the door recently and will be hard to keep out of the frame. Motafarred is the dark horse in the race and any money for Micky Hammond's charge would be interesting. All in all a tricky affair but Advancement looks the pick on last season's form and he gets the verdict.

Race Overview: A poor turnout for this decent prize and Dark Charm is selected ahead of Zaif and Torrens. Richard Fahey's eight-year-old showed he was no back number when chasing home King Of The Moors at Redcar last time out. With ground and trip in his favour again a big run is expected. Top-weight Zaif is a rare Beverley runner for David Elsworth. The stable is in good form and this one could be spot on following two modest runs this season. Torrens has just run out of steam in the closing stages of his last two races and may want to drop a furlong or so. However in this company he should still be in the shake up. Sir Arthur is not badly treated on the pick of his form and he may do best of the others, but our idea of the winner is Dark Charm.

Race Overview: Amanda Carter can give Richard Fahey another success, Cushat Law and Reflective Glory look to be the main rivals. This progressive three-year-old folied a major gamble on Falimar last time out. In fact she won that carlisle contest with plenty in hand. The six pound penalty shouldn't be enough to stop her following up this afternoon. Cushat Law has put in some solid efforts over shorter and being a daughter of Montjeu she should be even better over this trip. Reflective Glory looked in need of the run when behind the selection last time out and should get a lot closer this afternoon. However Amanda Carter is also open to further improvement and she gets a confident vote this afternoon.

Race Overview: Morristown Music just edges the vote here ahead of Gap Princess and Champagne Cracker. John Wainwright's filly showed improved form last time out when finishing a close up fourth behind Darcy's Pride at Newcastle. There were some in form horses behind that day and so that wasn't a bad effort. With more progression likely she looks the best option. Gap Princess was just behind the selection in that event, making her seasonal debut. She is entitled to come on for the run and looks an obvious danger. Champagne Cracker has already been successful this term and although possibly in the handicappers grip she should still be vying for some place money. The best of the rest could be Myster Pips, but in a wide open contest our pin has come down on the side of Morristown Music.

Race Overview: Red Blossom is given the nod here ahead of Trivia and Jibajaba. Sir Mark Prescott was successful with a similar type recently that was very well supported, so the proviso here is that she attracts some money. She is superbly bred by Green Desert out of a mare that finished placed in the French 1000 Guineas. Prescott in fact trained the dam and so he would no doubt be delighted if she could win a few races. Trivia finished third to an Alan Swinbank newcomer at Newmarket last time and the form is working out well. Neville Callaghan's horses tend to improve with racing and she looks the obvious danger. Jibajaba showed plenty of promise on his debut at this track and is sure to come on for the run. Mark Johnston's Morbick looks the pick of the others, but we will take achance on the well bred newcomer Red Blossom.
