Jockey Jamie Spencer will miss the William Hill Lincoln (saturday, march 31, 2007) due to a 2 day riding suspension imposed for excessive use of the whip in the 3.20 at Southwell yesterday (monday, march 19, 2007).Ex champion jockey Spencer finished unplaced and down the field in 4th, beaten by a distance on his mount, the 7/2 shot Jeepstar. The 11/4 2nd favourite Rule For Ever easily won the 2mile stayers handicap race on the Southwell fibresand all-weather track. Front runner Al Moulatham (5/1), finished second after failing to burn off the winner down the back straight.
♠ Spencer will be suspended from riding on the 30th and 30th of march.
